Tad Pacholczyk recent reports that scientists have been able to grow a “model" of a human embryo without sperm or egg, relying instead on assembling stem cells into a “stembryo.” They consider the ethical implications of this type of research, along the duty to safeguard the origins of early human life and avoid exploitation of vulnerable humans in laboratory settings.
